Junior programmers will learn the basics of current gaming software to develop their own 2D adventure video game. Participants will learn map and level design, as well as how to create compelling stories that work well in adventure game genres. After the camp, they will be able to play and share the game with family and friends.

Camp Leader
Brenna, an associate artist at Creative Space 4 Art and fellow video game enthusiast, is gifted in multiple art genres from drawing with pencil and charcoal, to painting in watercolour and acrylic, to mastering the digital art world. She is a fourth year student in the Bachelor of Fine Arts - New Media program at university. Through her classes she has experience creating video games, including the theory behind successful game development and the steps required to use software to make adventure game dreams a reality. She is excited to share her passion for gaming and game development with others, which is why this summer camp has come to life.
